Innovative - Individualized - Inclusive
Hi, my name is Lesley Tucker. I am a native of Charleston, SC. I have also lived In North Carolina and Illinois, but Georgia is “home” to me and my two wonderful daughters, Erin and Meghan. I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Western Illinois University. My graduate degree is from Georgia State University and my post graduate work is from the University of Georgia. I worked for DeKalb County Schools for 33.5 years as a Teacher, Diagnostician, Lead Teacher and Special Education Coordinator. Since retiring in 2012, I have worked as a consultant for local school systems and for GaDOE as a complaint investigator. When not working I enjoy reading and relaxing, trips to the beach, enjoying time with family and friends and hanging out with my little Morkie, Simon.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Tapestry family. It is wonderful to reconnect with so many familiar families and getting to know new many new ones.
