Way to go students!
Tapestry students competed in their first ever reading bowl (the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl) on Saturday, 1/31/15. 21 schools from across DeKalb County participated. With a small team of six 6th grade students, we won 5 out of 6 rounds and placed 3rd overall in the competition! We are especially proud that our reading bowl team was a beautiful demonstration of our mission and the diversity of our school.
Congratulations also to Henderson Middle (1st place) and Chamblee Middle (2nd).
