This September, Tapestry hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the expansion of our school facility. Tapestry welcomed parents, volunteers, and community members to celebrate this special occasion, and to thank all who contributed to the success of the school.
Event participants included: Tapestry Board Members, Sherry Johnson, Area Superintendent, DeKalb County Schools; Laura Stowell, Director of Charter Schools for DeKalb; Donna Pittman, Mayor of Doraville; Dawn O’Conner, Council Member, City of Doraville, along with many of our supporters, donors and special guests. This event was a wonderful way to mark the beginning of a new future for Tapestry Public Charter School.
