Tapestry School Lunch Program

School Lunch Program

Students are welcome to bring lunch from home or participate in Tapestry Public Charter School’s lunch program. Tapestry Public Charter School participates in the National School Lunch Program.

Applying for Free or Reduced Lunch

All students may apply to receive free or reduced price meals at Tapestry Public Charter School by completing an online School Meals Application. Your child’s completed application could help our school receive potential funding for our programs, so we ask that all families complete a new application each school year.

Applying for meal benefits is fast, easy, and free. Now you can apply for free or reduced-price school meals the easy way by applying online through SchoolCafe.com. When creating your account on SchoolCafe please use Dekalb County Schools as your district.  If you have students in another Dekalb County School, you will only need to fill out one application, but note which schools your students attend.

Remember all information is confidential.  Once the online application is submitted and validated, the eligibility status of your child(ren) will be sent home.

Ordering School Lunches

If you would like for your student to receive a school lunch, you must use My Meal Order.com for ordering and payments.  Signing Up is FREE & EASY! Click here for instructions on setting up an account. Due to the small size of our school, we use an external vendor to supply school lunches, and therefore we only purchase the number of lunches for which orders have been placed through My Meal Order. Please know that if your student participates in the Free and Reduced lunch program, you must order a lunch for your student through MyMealOrder.com.

If you have any questions or need assistance with this program, please email raldrich@tapestrycharter.org.

Meal Cost

The cost for paid meals is $4.50 each.

Meal Charge Policy

Tapestry School lunches must be paid for via MyMealOrder.com prior to a student receiving a lunch.  If a Student receives a meal not previously paid for through My Meal Order, an invoice will be sent for those meals at the end of each month.

Students requesting and receiving a second meal that was not previously paid for will be invoiced for that meal at the end of each month.
